Any night above 7 nights is set at the 7 night rental rate.
*The rental rate includes accommodation & all set meals.
*Any 2 children under 3 years of age per family are charged one single child rental per night as listed above.
*if any child 3 years or longer requires their own room, they will be charged the children’s full rental rate.
*Children 15 years & above are charged the adult rental rate.
*Pick up/drop off from/to the Pangkor Island ferry terminal & transfer to Tiger Rock/Pangkor ferry terminal is included in the rental rate.
Service Charges: are not included in the rental rates. Please think about tipping our wonderful team if you have a great stay.
Note on Food: We do need to know if you have any special dietary requirements or food allergies. It would also be helpful to know if your kids have any food preferences or particular food dislikes. Please note that the kitchen at Tiger Rock is pork free.
Meals are a set menu based on whatever is fresh in the market on the day. If you request anything extra or special ingredients, such as extra seafood etc, we will add a surcharge to your bill at the end of the stay.
Note on Drinking Water: Please take note that do not provide any commercial bottled water at Tiger Rock mainly because of the huge single use plastic issue on the island. We have excellent drinking water that is filtered & boiled & we use our own refillable bottles in all the rooms. We provide guests with refillable bottles of water when you go on any excursions. Commercial bottled water is at your own cost & is available to purchase at Tiger Rock or in town.
Note on Drinks: All alcoholic drinks, commercially canned & bottled drinks are not included in the rental rate. You will be billed for these at the end of your stay.
Corkage: We are charging a flat RM30 per room (adults) per night. if you bring any of your own alcoholic beverages. Of course this includes refrigeration, all your wine glasses, ice buckets, beers in the fridge etc. Let us know & we can add the charges to your confirmation sheet or you will be charged at the end of your stay. We charge separately for mixers.
Celebrations: Birthday party etc.: We charge a flat fee of RM300 for a requested birthday celebration. This includes a cake, & decorations around the Pool House. Please note that we do not use balloons & avoid the use of single use plastic for the decorations.
Island Tour: Please note that the rental rates do not include the island tour. If you would like to do the island tour, it will cost RM200 (1-8 people). We are no longer allowed to use our own vehicle to show guests around the island. This new 'rule' has been set by the taxi association. We use a driver we know & you will be taken around in a pink 8 seater taxi van. They do a good job.
Trips to Pangkor town & nearby Beach (limited to Pasir Bogah): We charge a flat fee of RM10 to drop off & pick up with our jeep, if it is free. Please note that we are limited to where we can drop you off or pick you up from. These guidelines have been set by the island taxi association. We can easily call a cab to pick you up from Tiger Rock & you pay the driver directly.
Payment: A deposit of 20% is required to confirm your stay with us. The balance of full payment has to be made at least 1 week before arrival.
Tipping: Service charges are not included in the rental rate. Happy with the service from our team? Please tip them accordingly at the end of your stay. Tips are all shared equally between all the staff.
Cancellation: Any cancellation made less than 1 month before date of arrival is non-refundable. Any cancellations for direct bookings with us, made 1 month or more before date of arrival, will be issued a credit voucher of the same value of the deposit paid for the original booking, in order to reschedule your stay with us, subject to availability, anytime up to 6 months after your original booking dates.
Rooms:
We only have 8 rooms in total spread throughout the 8 acre property:
- Main House( 2 rooms- 1 king size bed & 2/3 singles with en suite bathrooms- great for a family)
- The Studio( for a couple & 1 child)
- The Pool House Chalet ( for a couple- best for the elderly or those who have less mobility)
- Hill House ( 4 rooms split between 3 pavilions- Upper & Lower pavilions- 2 rooms each- & a central living pavilion. Hill House has its own small pool.
All rooms have access to the Main Pool
Tiger Rock is cocooned in the jungle. We back onto the forest reserve of Pangkor Island. All meals are served at the Pool House.
*Guests are met at the Pangkor Island ferry terminal & transported to Tiger Rock.

Items & charges not included in the rental rate:
-The Island Tour is not included in the rental cost. Mohan will make arrangements for the van & driver to meet you at Tiger Rock. All extra excursions by van are at your own cost.
- Ferry tickets from Lumut/Marina Island to Pangkor Island are not included in the rental rate. You purchase these online before arrival.
- Alcoholic beverages and any commercially canned or carton drinks are charged at the end of your stay.
- Hire of boats to Sembilan Islands & around Pangkor- arrangements can be made as & when needed. You deal directly with the operators.
- Hire of guides for specialist jungle trekking. Please request ahead of time. Based on availability. You deal directly with the operators.
- Hire of water sports equipment, jetskis, kayaks, motorbikes, mountain bikes etc.- arrangements to be made as & when needed. You deal directly with the operators.
- Massage, manicures, pedicures, henna painting- arrangements can be made on booking or a day in advance at Tiger Rock.
- We can arrange transfers/pick ups by road for clients. eg. KLIA, Kuala Lumpur , Penang, Ipoh to/from Lumut. You pay the operators directly.
Recreational Rental of Boats on Pangkor Island: Approximate costs. You deal with the operators directly:
Half day boat trip +-RM350 per boat- seats 12 pax (Snorkelling sets- RM20 per pax)
Sunset Boat ride +-RM350 per boat- seats 12 pax.
These prices are subject to change at any time & you have to deal with the operators directly.
NOTE ON FERRIES:
*There are 2 ferry points going to Pangkor. Lumut is the standard one. Marina Island is at a different location & the ride is a few minutes shorter. If busy during your holiday periods, the ferries will then 'leave when full', with a quick turnover.

Nearer your time of arrival please contact Mohan to confirm all is well. Mohan will be waiting to pick you up from the Pangkor Island jetty & transfer you to Tiger Rock.
On your arrival in Lumut or Marina Island, you need to drop passengers off at the ferry point, park car. Buy ferry tickets if you have not purchased them on-line. Then call Mohan once the ferry departs the terminal.

On the day of departure a breakfast is served 8.30am to 10am. The kitchen closes at 10am.
We require you to be ready with your baggage to leave Tiger Rock at 11.30am. The midday ferry departures ensure you miss the busy departure period & you don't get held up by people being checked at the customs section of the departure line.
Pangkor Island is a duty free island so you may get checked by customs as you depart. Unfortunately everyone has to join the queue for this. Obviously weekends & school holiday periods are the most busy so please just keep this in mind.
Departure from Tiger Rock is 11.30am. Please note that we are not responsible if you miss your ferry on departure.
If you choose to take a later ferry, on departure from Tiger Rock at 11.30am, you will be transferred to a recommended coffee shop in Pangkor town, very close to the ferry terminal, where you can take your time, explore Pangkor town & then make your way to the ferry terminal for the ferry departure of your choice.
