Main House

The Wilkinson family's private house is available as a whole. Perfect for a family holiday. This is a large colourful, rustic, rambling, wooden house built around the traditional Malaysian kampung style. It was designed by David & built by the local Malay contractors from Teluk Gedung. Coins were put under the main tiang, or support beam, in order to keep the local spirits happy. Wooden shutters open onto green views of the jungle trees that surround this property. It has the feeling of being a large wooden tree house. 

The Master bedroom is entered through a central dressing room in which there is an additional spare bed. The ensuite bathroom has wooden windows that open to the jungle outside. In the bedroom full length wooden doors open onto a veranda. The second bedroom has 2 single beds with en-suite bathroom. Rooms are fitted with both fans and air conditioning. 

On the ground floor there is a fun open relaxed area for watching DVD's and a big dining table that is great for playing boardgames at night. The dining room & kitchen tables are used as work spaces during your various retreats. In the kitchen you make your own beverages. Kids love the painted floors, and the wooden floors upstairs feel great in bare feet.
