Day Trips to Tiger Rock
Traditional Planter's Curry Tiffin at Tiger Rock!
Tiger Rock opens its doors to guests who wish to enjoy a wonderful local meal. Tiger Rock is well known for it's delicious food. Experience the wonderful jungle reserve of Pangkor Island whilst enjoying the best traditional tiffin curry you'll have anywhere. All prepared by Bavanni, Tiger Rock's wonderful chef. The spirits of all planter's past will want to be at Tiger Rock!
You will be welcomed by the Tiger Rock family with a beautiful flower garland, traditional blessing and a welcoming fresh lime drink. Enjoy the beautiful butterflies, birds and tropical jungle surrounding you. You will then be free to enjoy our swimming pool, library, wi-fi internet and tennis court. Towels, rackets and tennis balls are provided but please bring appropriate sport shoes with you. You will be served with home made ice teas, lime juice and coffee/tea during the activities. Just after noon, your tiffin will be served at our rustic Pool House. You can then relax, have a swim & then later return to your hotel or the jetty for your onward journey. We know you'll have a wonderful Tiger Rocking day!
Lunch Charges:
ADULT : RM 180 nett
CHILD (12 years old & below) : RM 70 nett
Transfer by taxi is an additional charge. Aprox. RM40 each way. Please pay the driver directly. Note that the Pangkor Island Taxi Association insists that hotel guests must use taxis in order to get from one hotel to the next destination. I'm afraid that this is not within our control.
Arrive at 10.45am. Depart at 4pm.
Additional alcoholic beverages and canned soft drinks will be charged separately at the end of the day. Payment is made by PayPal or Bank TT if booked ahead of time. If you have made a last minute booking, payment is by cash only, on arrival. Tiger Rock does not accept credit cards.

Candle Light Dinner in the Jungle!
Getting bored of the ordinary dinner in the restaurant or hotel? At Tiger Rock you can enjoy the natural music of the jungle while sitting by our pool in the jungle. Enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner with your loved one, or celebrate with friends in this special setting. Traditional oil lamps and jungle lighting create a very special night atmosphere at Tiger Rock.
Mohan, our manager, can arrange a taxi to pick you up at 5.30pm from your hotel on Pangkor Island. On arrival at Tiger Rock, you will be given a traditional Tiger Rock welcome and one of Mohan's delicious cocktails.
Dinner will be prepared by Bavanni, our 'best cook ever!' Only local market fresh ingredients and freshly caught seafood is used for Tiger Rock meals. Dinner is followed by Mohan's dramatic fruit flambe dessert presentation at the poolside. Sip on a cup of coffee, tea or Tiger Rock's special spice tea, under a blanket of stars, surrounded by the sounds of the jungle. At around 10pm, you can head back to your hotel. We're sure you'll have the most gorgeous evening with us!
