We have just returned from our 2nights' stay at Tiger Rock. It was just what we needed after our hectic & busy catching up with my Malaysian relatives.
We thoroughly enjoyed it all. It offered rustic charm, peace and tranquility and of course at one with the jungle.
Mohan, Bavanni and the girls were incredible in their attention and hospitality. Bavanni's fresh, home cooked meals were just yummy! We could not do without Mohan, our fantastic host, driver and waiter.
Thanks too for recommending The Studio with it's very own jungle rock shower. We loved it.
Wishing you all continuing success at Tiger Rock and hope to return some day. Nick & Naomi cannot wait to share this unique experience.

We just arrived back home in Switzerland where we were welcomed by a cover of snow which differs sightly from the excellent climate we had in Pongkor - Andrienne and myself are overwhelmed!
Quite frankly, we have already seen quite a number of different places in our lives, but never ever had we the chance to cumulate in one place at such a high level kindness, willingness to do well and excell, to experience the way all of you take care of each of your customers, guests and of your garden in your most lovely and loving nest combined with a subtleness in attitudes, behaviour and competences in all sorts of different ways, which can only translate a very profound and positive inner attitude towards life in general and towards people in particular.
It is Delphine and Fred who proposed us the idea of popping over to the other side of the world and come and see you even if it was for 6 days only, but they were so right in doing this so that we, as very proud parents, already proposed to all of our children to come and see themselves.
It could only be for the good of us all because it is a such a positive lesson of live, helping to broaden one's mind - so come and see the world - it is in Tiger Rock.
With all our warmest thanks to all of you, we keep in touch.

Comments: What a weekend the kids did have - fishing, snorkling. The corals were really lovely especially the 'big bowl'. Can't get over the boys strategy for perfect fishing- one snorkler in the water giving instructions on where to drop lines.

I should have written sooner but just never had the luxury of time to sit down and tell you what an amazing time my family had in Tiger Rock.
December is a terrible month – in terms of work – as most managers and employees are on leave and with deadlines set for 31 Dec, I basically was hustling for every second of the day so I could return to Malaysia for Christmas/New Year!
What can I say? We loved Tiger Rock… not just because it was a gorgeous piece of property and really unique compared to the other hotels we have stayed in but the icing on the cake was Mohan and his team who made us feel like VIP’s J and gave us the royal treatment. All of us were especially touched by the amount of care they provided to my father and my brother-in-law was so impressed he was telling his friends about the 7-star service that out-rivals all the top hotels in Singapore.
You have a wonderful team managing Tiger Rock and it is to your/their credit that the service is the first and last we speak about when we remember the holiday. We loved the rooms and the pool was gorgeous. You own a slice of paradise in Tiger Rock and I hope it always remains that way. For those few days, I completely forgot work and all my worries and it was good to see the whole family enjoying this time together.
What can be improved? Perhaps a TV at the gazebo in the guest house as it is very quiet at night and not much to do especially with the kids once they return to the rooms after dinner as most of them were not too keen to walk in the dark from the main house back to hill houses.
Tiger Rock is certainly a hard act to follow – whether in Pangkor Island or elsewhere. We had a lovely holiday and wonderful memories. I hope that one of these days, we can return to it.
Meantime, I am writing to my friend who was considering holding her wedding there to tell her what I think and what could work and might not.

An unforgetable part of our honeymoon we have had here in Tiger Rock!
From the beginning till the end the service was perfect. We really enjoyed the Island trip. Especially experiencing the different religions in Malaysia
We also enjoyed the delicious dinners!

Comments: Hi Mohan. I'm sure you do still remember danny. Husband visited tiger rock along his wife past weekend because of her business trip.
I've had a strong will to write and thank you for your warm hospitality and great foods from Bavani. This short stay at tiger rock leaves me a long lasting memory which I will definitely spread out the word to more people who concern.
Tiger rock is a great, unique and I have to say a very polarized product. Those who love it will love it forever.
Once again, thank you for your time and great effort putting us to the best pleasure. Never had such a divine service and foods even if I had a stay at 5 stars.

Comments: From every window in every house you see the jungle.
The Studio is beautiful, especially the rock bathroom.
It is so quiet, so green everywhere. So peaceful. The atmosphere is so good. Bawani’s cooking is so tasteful and so with love for details.
It is away from the world. And Mohan is a part of all of it. A special spot in Malaysia. We think we have seen the best of Pangkor.

We would like to thank all of you for a truly unforgettable holiday at Tiger Rock. I think the children were at first a bit taken aback after your wise lessons on basic rules when living in the jungle, but after you taught them that they can even safely hold a stick with a very poisonous viper attached to it without anything bad happening, they got the message.
Thank you also for asking Bavanni (I hope the spelling is right) to teach Annelies to cook a few dishes that she did not master yet. It seems we will see a dramatic change to our daily menus.
We all look back on a very inspiring trip along Buddhist and Hindu temples and we truly appreciate your instructions and explanations of some of the rituals. The fact that the priest in the Hindu temple was prepared to treat us as though we were part of his flock was also pretty amazing. The children loved the trips on your motor cycle and they are still grateful for the underwater goggles.
We all very much enjoyed your company and the discussions we had on all sorts of subjects. In short, this was a terrific experience and we cherish our memories of Tiger Rock, the great food and the fantastic and very personal service from you and your team.
